Tracking and Alerts in ShipWise Intelligence

What's new
We’re excited to introduce the new Tracking and Alerts Dashboard, now live inside ShipWise Intelligence. This dashboard gives your team real-time visibility into the in-transit shipping journey, helping you move from reactive problem-solving to proactive decision-making.
Shipments in high-volume fulfillment are exposed to many variables once they are in transit, including weather, natural disasters, port congestion, customs delays, and even global events. Alongside the dashboard, new Delay Alerts integrate directly into the platform or connect to existing email workflows, ensuring your teams are no longer caught off guard. The system flags risks in real time and provides early signals that help you decide how to respond before customers ever need to ask, “Where is my order?”
Who Benefits
- Operations teams: Stay ahead of bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and reduce firefighting.
- Customer Experience teams: Communicate with customers before they ask, turning delays into trust-building moments.
- Finance teams: Recover costs tied to late deliveries, missed pickups, or service failures.
- Executives: Protect margins, strengthen contracts, and gain clarity on shipping performance across carriers.
What You’ll Find in the Dashboard
Each report is designed to give you more control, transparency, and insight into your shipping operations:
- In-Transit Shipments (Days Since Pickup Date): Spot aging shipments early and prevent bottlenecks from escalating.
- Delivered Shipments (Transit Time): Benchmark carrier performance and optimize your mix for speed and reliability.

- In-Transit Shipments (Exact Days Since Picked Up Date): Get granular detail to detect anomalies or spikes in delays.

- Delivered Shipments (Exact Transit Time): Compare actual delivery times against SLA promises to ensure performance.

- In-Transit Shipments Delayed Beyond Estimated Delivery: Identify shipments arriving later than carrier estimates so you can notify customers proactively and recover credits where applicable.

- Delivered Shipments That Arrived Late: Quantify the impact of late deliveries and use the data to negotiate stronger carrier agreements.

- Shipments Not Picked Up (by Days Since Label Created): Close gaps between order processing and carrier pickup to reduce wasted labels and improve reporting accuracy.

- In-Transit Shipments Without Activity (Past 3+ Days): Catch stalled shipments before customers notice silence in tracking updates.
