About GTMS
GTMS is a managed LTL freight brokerage that rate-shops a panel of national LTL carriers, including AAA Cooper, ABF, XPO, Estes, SAIA, and FedEx Freight, through a single account. Because GTMS is the account of record, shippers reach those carriers on discounted, pre-negotiated rates without opening or maintaining individual carrier contracts, and the real carrier shows on every quote insteadof a black box.
How the integration works
Shippers moving pallets want competitive LTL rates without the carrier legwork, in the tool they already use for parcel. Connecting GTMS to ShipWise puts freight booking on the same screen as your parcel shipments.
- One rate call across a national carrier panel. Rate-shop national LTLcarriers in a single call and book the best result, no re-keying the same shipment into multiple portals.
- Discounted rates, no carrier contracts. GTMS is the account of record, so you get pre-negotiated freight pricing without opening, negotiating, or maintaining separate carrier accounts.
- Keep your own carrier accounts too. Bring your negotiated rates, use GTMS, or run both and rate-shop across everything.
- BOL, POD, and pallet labels generated automatically. ShipWise produces the Bill of Lading, retrieves proof of delivery, and prints 4×6 pallet labels at booking.
- Freight tracking beside your parcel. LTL status and full event historyland in the same Shipments grid as your parcel shipments.
- The real carrier on every quote. You see who is actually moving the freight (for example, Estes or SAIA), never a black box.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to give up my own carrier contracts?
No. Bring your own carrier accounts (BYOA) and keep your negotiated rates.Turning on GTMS is additive: rate-shop your rates against the GTMS panel and use whichever wins on each shipment.
How does GTMS handle accessorials like liftgate, residential, or limited-access delivery?
Add them to the shipment before you rate, and they're priced into the quote you book: liftgate, residential pickup or delivery, inside delivery, limited-access locations, and delivery appointments. Declaring them up front is what keeps the invoice matching the quote instead of a surprise re-bill later.
Do I need a minimum volume to get the discounted rates?
No. The pre-negotiated rates come from the GTMS brokerage panel, not from your own volume, so small and mid-size shippers get competitive LTL pricing without hitting a threshold.
