Action Required: Migrate to FedEx REST API

What's new
FedEx Is Moving to a New API
FedEx is transitioning from their legacy Web Services APIs to their new REST APIs.
Customers using FedEx shipping through ShipWise must migrate to the new FedEx REST integration by April 1, 2026 to ensure uninterrupted shipping services.
This update is required to continue using FedEx for rating, label generation, and tracking within ShipWise.
What You Need to Do
All FedEx account holders will need to migrate to the new FedEx REST connection directly within the ShipWise App.
You can complete this on your own, following the instructions below, or you can contact our support team for assistance.
How to Migration to the FedEx REST API
- Log in to the ShipWise WebApp
- Navigate to Carrier Accounts settings
- Select FedEx
- Follow the Migrate a FedEx Account to REST flow to convert your existing FedEx account.
The migration process is quick and designed to minimize disruption to your shipping operations.
Watch the Walkthrough
This short walkthrough shows exactly where to go and how to complete the migration process step by step.
Why This Matters
If your FedEx account is not migrated to the REST API:
- FedEx labels may fail to generate
- Rating requests may not return accurate rates
- Tracking updates may be interrupted
- Shipments using FedEx could be delayed
Migrating to the FedEx REST integration ensures your shipping operations continue without disruption.
