 We’ve rolled out a new update packed with workflow enhancements, carrier flexibility, and automation improvements designed to help you ship smarter and scale with confidence. Here's what's new

Highlights:

Service Group names can now be displayed in the Shopify UI: Instead of displaying individual carrier service names, Shopify users can now see their configured Service Group names for the Rates at Checkout feature. This makes it easier to verify how Shopify ship methods map to your ShipWise Service Groups, so you can confidently manage rate logic, carrier strategy, and delivery expectations.

Carrier Updates:

  • FedEx: Added support for specifying Broker details when processing FedEx international shipments.
  • USPS: Added support for additional label size/formats: 4" x 4", 4" x 5", and 2" x 7" for USPS API packages.
  • DoorDash: Update  to  integration so all shipments are treated as “contactless delivery” unless signature required is enabled.

Platform Features and Improvements:

  • Batch processing performance improvements:  We've optimized how batch processing works for shipper-level users. Faster processing = less waiting, more shipping — especially important during peak volume days.
  • Improved error handling for state code issues: Orders missing a U.S. domestic ship-to-state code will now trigger smarter error messaging.This cuts down on failed shipments and helps teams resolve address issues before they cause delays.
  • Unique package IDs for packing automation:  The system now generates distinct package IDs automatically when using packing automation workflows.This helps ensure accuracy in multi-package orders, reduces confusion in fulfillment, and improves tracking.
