Global packaging controls, new carrier integration, and API enhancements

At ShipWise, we’re always improving to help you ship smarter, faster, and more accurately. The latest release [v10.3.1.0] introduces enhancements that reduce errors, expand carrier support, and improve how you manage orders. Here's what’s new and how it benefits you:

Highlights

• Global Packaging Automation Setting: A global toggle within Packaging Automation settings has been added to fail rates when no box configuration is detected.This reduces misrates and fulfillment errors by preventing unconfigured packaging scenarios from rating.
  
• Simplified Order Filtering: The Batch ID quick filter has been removed from the Orders page. This streamlines the filter panel, reducing visual noise and helping users focus on relevant criteria.
  

Carrier Updates

• Amazon Shipping:  Package reference fields are now supported on Amazon Shipping AZS01 labels.
  
• APC:  Enhancement to allow packages to rate without dimensions as long as weight is present. Custom packaging types are also now supported with all APC services.
  
• ePost Global: Implemented country specific dimensional limits for EP76, EP84, EP85, EP86, EP87, and EP90 services.
  
• Jitsu: Added support for webhooks.
  
• LMS: New carrier integration is now available for use. Adds a new option for local and final-leg delivery.
  
• OSM: Adjusted additional references on the OSM ZPL labels to prevent package ID text from overlapping the 2D barcode.
  
• UniUni: Now supports Canada origins for intra-Canada shipments.

Platform Features & Improvements

• Order Detail Now Shows Preassigned Packaging: Users can now visually confirm if packaging was auto-assigned at the order level, improving transparency and troubleshooting.

API and Integration Improvements

• International Address Validation via Public API: Customers with custom shipping applications or international reach can now validate international addresses during order creation, reducing failed deliveries and customer complaints.‍
• Shopify Integration Upgrade: Shopify API upgraded from 2025-01 to 2025-04 to maintain compatibility for "Rate at Checkout" functionality. Ensures uninterrupted rate visibility during Shopify checkout.
